The Bus Stop Ecosystem

November 14, '24

As watching me would have you believe, I recently discovered modern phones have cameras! After such unbelievable discovery, I have taken to clicking things at my local bus stop, as I wait for the often late -but never more than me- M90 bus to Strathfield station.

There is a surprising amount of organisms just chilling around: ants, flies, birds, flowers, and maybe a kangaroo hiding in the short grass, considering this is Australia and keeping in mind what Pokémon taught us. You never know.

Here, we have a tiny flower:

A tiny yellow flower, maybe 2cm wide

And if we zoom in further, we can see a tinyer fly in the tiny flower:

A tiny fly in the petals of the yellow flower

And I would add more pictures I took, but I am writing this on the train to work and capitalism yearns for my presence!

Adios! Until we meet again, internet people!
